After going to Ireland this past May, I have serious travel fever. There are so many places I want to go, so many things I want to do, but unfortunately I have to be an adult and it sucks. I really am considering starting a travel fund and once I reach a certain amount, take the time to go visit places, even if I go on my own!
While having this want, I have a huuuge bucket list that I’ve been developing in my head over time and I figured, why not put it all into words for you guys? Maybe we have similar wants (and we can do them together!).

This is not nearly all the things I want to do but these are the ones that come to mind and the ones that I think I’d actually be able to do some day (hopefully). What are some things on your travel bucket list?
No one knows what the future holds but I know my hopes for it. Inspired by the wonderful Jemma at Dorkface, I am going to list off some of the things that I want to do in the next ten years to compile my very own ten-year bucket list.
See Beartooth once a year every year.
Go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Travel to London, Portland, Rome, Paris, Spain, and Germany.
Learn to play the piano.
Go on a cruise.
Go shopping in NYC.
Learn another language fluently.
Go to New Orleans during Mardi Gras.
Get my masters and doctorate.
Volunteer at an animal shelter.
Meet a celebrity.
Complete an exercise challenge.
Write a children’s book.
Now to start planning all of this! Leave your bucket list ideas in the comments.
I’m makin’ a list and checkin’ it twice. Bucket lists are a great way to make goals for a certain time period whether it be a month, a season, or your lifetime. I love making lists of holiday-specific things that I can do to get myself in the spirit. Here’s a bucket list that we can all use to make for a terrific Christmas season!
Go look at the Christmas lights
Decorate your house for the holidays
Go ice skating
Make homemade ornaments
Sing Christmas carols
Have a snowball fight
Have a Christmas movie night
Buy a pair Christmas pajamas
Have a peppermint hot chocolate
Give gifts to your neighbors
Take a “Christmas card” picture
Buy an ugly Christmas sweater
Make Santa cookies
Donate to a local non-profit organization
Make a gingerbread house
Make a holiday art craft
Participate in a Secret Santa gift exchange
Wrap presents for your friends and family
Learn about another culture’s holiday celebrations
Eat foods from other cultures’ Christmases
Make paper snowflakes
Do a random good deed for someone
Spend time with your family
These are all things that I personally want to see myself do before 2017 and I hope you all can take a little bit away from this list as well! If you have any requests for Blogmas posts that you would like to see in my series, please let me know in the comments below.
